Discover Our StoryThese pillars guide everything we do as a church family.
Every sermon is rooted in the authority of Scripture. We preach the Word faithfully, expounding the Bible verse by verse.
We cultivate a genuine family atmosphere where every member is known, loved, and cared for in the spirit of Christ.
Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. We believe in a God who hears and answers, and we seek Him together.
We are called to reach our community with the good news of Jesus Christ. Soul-winning and evangelism are central to our mission.
Join us for worship, fellowship, and the Word of God throughout the week.
An independent Baptist church committed to God's Word, His glory, and the good of our community in Princes Town, Trinidad.
This church shall be known as Cornerstone Baptist Church, an independent, autonomous, Bible-believing congregation located in Craignish Village, Princes Town, Trinidad and Tobago, operating under the Lordship of Jesus Christ alone.
The purpose of this church is to glorify God through the preaching of the Gospel, the edification of believers through the Word of God, and the evangelization of the lost in our community and beyond.
We believe the Holy Bible — composed of the Old and New Testaments — to be the verbally inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our supreme authority in all matters of faith, practice, and church governance.
Membership is open to all who have trusted in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour and have been baptized by immersion following their conversion in accordance with Scriptural teaching.
Cornerstone Baptist Church is a fully autonomous, independent Baptist church. We are not affiliated with any denomination or convention. We are governed solely by the Scriptures and the leadership Christ has placed within this local assembly.
We observe two ordinances: (1) Believer's Baptism by immersion as a public testimony of salvation, and (2) The Lord's Supper, observed regularly as a memorial of Christ's atoning sacrifice until He returns.
The pastor serves as the spiritual overseer of the congregation, called of God to preach the Word, shepherd the flock, and lead the church in accordance with Scripture (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9).
Our deacons are men of proven character who serve the practical needs of the church body, supporting the pastor and freeing him to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:1–7; 1 Timothy 3:8–13).
The Church Clerk maintains official records of the congregation, minutes of business meetings, membership rolls, and correspondence, ensuring the organized administration of the church family.
The Church Treasurer oversees the faithful and transparent management of all church finances, ensuring that God's resources are used with integrity and in accordance with the church's mission and budget.
